Vanessa graduated from the University of Santo Amaro with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2010. In 2011, she completed her postgraduate degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the Federal University of Sao Paulo and in 2012 completed the STOTT PILATES course in Brazil. Since moving to Australia, Vanessa has completed a Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Ageing Care and Advanced Diploma in Remedial Massage.
In 2022, Vanessa completed the Australian Physiotherapy Council assessment process and became a registered physiotherapist in Australia. Vanessa is always working to further her knowledge, with hopes to complete her Master’s in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy in the near future.
Throughout her 13-year career, Vanessa has worked in various physiotherapy clinics, hospitals, and Pilates studios in both Australia and Brazil, accumulating a wealth of experience. She enjoys using an individualised approach with each of her clients, helping them to achieve their goals while improving pain management and function.
Vanessa’s areas of interest include musculoskeletal rehabilitation and wellness. She is also very passionate about Pilates, manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription and injury prevention. In her time off, Vanessa loves being outdoors and loves exercise. She prides herself in being physically active and encourages everyone to be active and have a healthy routine to maintain physical and mental health and prevent disease.
