The second class we have available is our Workout Classes for Teens which is targeted at teenagers who wish to get a great head start on building their foundational fitness. Finally, we also have great availability for our Stretch Classes to improve your mobility and flexibility no matter your sporting ability or fitness level! As part of our physiotherapy care, we utilise the Ax-It System to perform an assessment of almost every muscle and joint within our patients’ bodies. This greatly assists us during exercise physiotherapy sessions as it allows us to share data with our clients in real time so we can modify the physical activity to best suit you and your body. Such factors that can be measured using the Ax-It System include maximum power, maximum strength, and stability. It also allows us to measure how well you can perform functional movements, such as squats or push ups. As well as seeing how you perform during a workout, this system also allows your exercise physio to measure how you have improved from session to session, along with which areas you may need additional assistance for. It is also a great preventative tool, as it informs us when performing a certain exercise task may put you at risk of injury.
