Effective 11 September 2026.
This page explains when Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy will send you marketing communications, how we get your permission first, and how to stop them at any time.
The important distinction
There are two very different kinds of message we might send you, and we treat them differently.
Messages about your care. Appointment confirmations, reminders, changes to a booking, results of a request you made, invoices and receipts, and messages from your practitioner about your treatment. These are part of providing you with a health service. We send them because you are a patient, and we will keep sending them for as long as you are one. They are not marketing and you cannot unsubscribe from them, although you can tell us your preferred contact method at any time.
Marketing messages. Newsletters, health and exercise tips, information about new services or classes, clinic news and event invitations. We only send these if you have told us you want them.
We do not use your patient details for marketing without asking
When you give us your email address or mobile number so we can look after you, we use it to look after you. We do not treat that as permission to add you to a mailing list.
Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, your health information is sensitive information and is given the strictest protection. The contact details we hold alongside it were collected so that we could provide you with care. We are only allowed to use them to market to you if you have agreed to it.
Saying no makes no difference to your care. Consent to marketing is never a condition of getting an appointment, and it will never affect how you are treated.
How we ask for your consent
We will ask you separately and clearly, and we will only add you to our marketing list if you have told us you want to be on it. Agreeing to our terms, or consenting to treatment, is not agreeing to marketing, and we will never treat it as though it were.
If you are not sure whether you are on our marketing list, ask us and we will tell you.
How to stop receiving marketing
You can opt out at any time, for any reason, and you do not have to give one.
- use the unsubscribe link or instruction in any marketing message we send you
- email us at admin@pivotalmotion.com.au
- phone us on (07) 3352 5116
- tell any of our team at the clinic
We action unsubscribe requests within 5 working days, as required by the Spam Act 2003. Usually it is immediate.
Unsubscribing removes you from marketing only. You stay a patient, your appointments stand, and you will still get the messages about your care described above.
Who our messages come from
Every marketing message we send will identify us clearly:
- Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy Pty Ltd
- ABN 21 155 577 834
- 240 Enoggera Road, Newmarket QLD 4051
- admin@pivotalmotion.com.au

If you receive a message claiming to be from us that does not carry these details, or does not offer a working way to unsubscribe, please tell us. It is not from us.
What we do with your details
We do not sell, rent or trade your contact details, and we do not share them with other businesses for their own marketing.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal and health information more generally.
If you have a concern
