Physiotherapy Aide and Receptionist
Luke is in the fourth year of a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science degree at the University of Queensland. Isaac’s younger brother, Luke is also Toowoomba born and bred and has spent his years trialing and training for a variety of sports.
Introduced to Rugby Union at the age of six, the game played in heaven has been Luke’s major sporting focus through primary and high school and continues to be during his university degree. It is his involvement in Rugby, along with gym, soccer and touch, as well as his older brother’s many sporting injuries, which introduced Luke to the world of sports science and medicine, and sparked an interest from an early age.
In order to chase his dreams in sports medicine Luke moved to Brisbane at the beginning of 2015. Once he has completed his current Bachelor’s of Exercise and Sports Science, Luke plans to continue his studies through a post-graduate degree in Medicine, with the hopes of becoming a Sports or Pediatric Physician. February 2019 sees the beginning of this dream.
Luke’s involvement in a wide range of sports has continued with his move to Brisbane, as he has continued to play Rugby for King’s College and the University of Queensland Red Heavies. He also continues to play Touch Football and Soccer for his college and has been avidly involved in the growing Rugby Sevens presence at the university and King’s.
Luke has been a part of the Pivotal Motion team since his move in 2015, working at the reception during this time. Once he graduates from both degrees Luke hopes to working with elite sporting teams or hospitals and plans to expand his qualifications throughout the next few years with strength and conditioning and personal training qualifications.
Luke’s favourite boss is Bobbie-Jo.
