Physiotherapy Aide and Receptionist
Liam is a second year Physiotherapy student at the Australian Catholic University, he has a completed degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Queensland which he finished in 2017.
Liam was born in South Africa to an English father and moved to Australia at a young age, giving him the right to support all three countries in sport (Not that he brags about it though). Liam has been in love with sport since he was able to walk, starting with a love affair with cricket and football, which he played religiously. At the age of sixteen Liam took a very serious liking to long distance running, which saw him retire from all other sport to focus entirely on running. Since then he has been given the privilege to represent Australia in the 5000m at the Melanesian Athletics Championships in 2016 and the Oceania Athletics Championships in 2017 which saw him bring home a gold and bronze medal respectively.
Liam has always been interested in the human body and how we have the potential to shape it to our desire. This interest led Liam into an Exercise and Sports Science degree, upon completion of this degree, Liam began to develop the desire to help treat injuries and give people the ability to play sport pain free, which has now led him into a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree. In the future, Liam hopes to eventually pay off his mountain of a student loan, while working as a physiotherapist.
Liam has been part of the Pivotal Motion team since late 2018 and is working as a receptionist and physio aide. He loves the idea of working as a sports physiotherapist and aims to do so when he completes his degree.
